11/12/2008 Farewell party!

Today I had test of grammar.

That was really longer. I was tired but afternoon class I watched video project.

It was really interesting!

After university we were make up! because today was Farewell party!

I really enjoyed it, and we were dancing to teacher and host family's☆

I took many picture!

I came back home at 7.30 and I had 2 pieces pizza with my host family♡ 

and we watched TV "The pregnant man".

It was very strange!! He said I want a boy next....

Today, I enjoyed very much♡

I miss teacher...

I miss my host family...

I miss York...

I hope to come back one day soon!

★Family day★

I cleaned in my room this morning and I went to Knaresborough with my host mother and father and Shiori. I visited the christmas market there.

That was really nice and some people sang song.

There was a funny man. The man wearing was red jacket and gray hat.

I took a picture with him, so the man held my body...

Then I took anywhere by the man...

He said in yorkshire christmas is every body kiss!!!

Oh, my goodness! He asked kiss to mouth for me but I said no no no!!!

So I tried his cheek, but he did my mouth. Oh dear...

I was shocked!!!

After that I had hot chocolate in cafe and I saw fire works at 4:30 p.m.

That was beautiful!!

Today was last Sunday in York.

I had a really nice experience!

☆Family day☆

Snow season!!

I had vegetable soup and bread for lunch.

After lunch I went ice skating in city center.

It was my first time but I never slipped, so I like ice skating and it was a nice experience!

I enjoyed it.

After that we went to christmas market of the city center.

Many professional people shops in there.

After we had break time in Wether spoon and I had hot chocolate!

I had a really nice time.

Im a chef!!

I went back to home at 4:30 p.m.

because I make a dinner for my friends!!

I cooked pasta, salad and garlic bread and apple black crumble.

My host mother teached for me.

It was really interesting and I had nice experienced.

My host mother was very kindly.

We had dinner at 6:15 p.m. and enjoyed it.♡

Today I made bake cake and cheese scones with my host mother!!

It was quite easy but sometimes difficult.

I was really nice experienced and very interesting!

and it was very delicious!!

I enjoyed it.

I had beefburgaer, salad and potatoes !

★My favorite place is my host family house and city center!!

But I like every British food.

★I went to France.

★Im really enjoying homestay. My host family is very kind and interesting!!

★Its a Bronte family.   Halloween party was exciting.

☆Family day☆

Today I woke up at 9:00 a.m. In the morning, I cleaned my room and 

I had tomato and vegetable soup and bread for lunch.

After that I went to ALDI and ASDA with my host family and I went to Dean's Garden center after supermarket. I had cheese scones and hot chocolate.

That was nice!!

My host mother said you can choose the decoration.

Every christmas season students choose one decoration and it on the christmas tree!

So I chose one. It looks so nice.

My host mother said this ball is a memorial of Masako. 

 I was really happy♥

in Haworth

I went to Haworth Museum and SALTS Museum.
I could know the history of Bronte family.
There was very small house to British people because the old people had a small body.
Im interested in the British history very much!!
I ate yorkshire pudding with onion gray bar and hot chocolate at lunch.
That was really delicious and cheep!
Afterwards I went to the Salts Museum by bus for about 20 minutes.
There had a lot of works of art and I bought a skethbook.
The return lay down in a bus becaus I was very tired.
But I was very nice exprenced today!!

I ate pizza, salad and potatoes at dinner!
Today's dinner was delicious, too.

Family day★

I got up at 8:30 a.m. Today I went to Castle Museum with my host mother and host father.

It was really interesting and scary. I saw old room of Queen and history in England and punish rooms. That was nice and I can knew history of England.

I ate hot chocolate at break time in Castle Museum Cafe.

I like hot chocolate!!

I went home at 4:30p.m.

Today dinner I had spicy chicken, salad and couscous and rice and small jacket potato and vegetable and garlic bread, so too many!!

That was very delicious!!

And I was very nice experienced♡

I had a good time.

I like the Castle Museum because I can know old history and life style of UK.  

☆Bonfire Night☆

I came back home at 5:00 p.m. and I had dinner soon.

I had hotdog, salad and vegetable and pizza and potato staff.

That was really delicious!!

After dinner I went to village called Stilling fleet because today was 

Guy Fawkes Night so I saw giant bonfire and firework display.

I did sparkler with Megan and  her friend.

Bonfire was very big and firework was beautiful very much and that was noisy

but I enjoyed it and I had wonderful experienced!!

Family day★

I got up at 8:30 a.m.

Today I visited my host mothers parents new caravan near Harrogate.

I saw fast time caravan. That was quite big!

It had a large living area and three bed rooms.

Caravan is very popure in England!

Then we went into Harrogate centre.

We went to a shop called Farry's.

That was very nice chocolates and sweets.

And The shop was very old.

We went for lunch at wetherspoons. I had pasta with meatballs!

That was very tasty.

After that, we went shopping.

We all went to Sainsbury's in Harrogate.

We bought lots of food. I ilke super market in England!

Very interesting!

☆ASK☆

I went to ASK after university.

ASK was Italian restaurant.

That was nice restaurant. I like that!!

So, I ate pizza. I order Margherita pizza.

That was very delicious!!

I was very nice experienced:)

And I walked to back home.

I went to Knaresbough with my host family.

I saw Knaresbough castle. That was 1000 yeare old.

We ware hot chocolate in river side cafe.

I went on a rowing boat. Rowing was quite easy!!

The views were lovely ! and especially the viaduct.

Next I went in the oldest chemist shop. That was in England 1720.

There was very low door. Because old people very small.

Tonight dinner beef pie with roast potatoes and vegetables and

yourkshire pudding.

That was very lovely!!

I had a good day.

I leave house at 9:30 a.m.

Which is on the East coast of England.

I walked on the beach. Then, I went to amusements -£1.oo 2p pieces.

I played to the of games.

I was special photograph Megan and myself.

Chips for lunch ! And tried warm mini doughuts.

It was very nice! After, walked around Filey centre.

I went to a cafe called The light house.

That is very attractive and pretty!! Nice!

I ate milky coffee scone, cream and jam. Very tasty.

I played crazy golf. Tony won!!

Very exciting game.

I had a very nice time!!

Yesterday, I went to city center after school!

City center is very beautiful city and many famous place.

I was surprised!!

Im very enjoy in my life!

My host mother is very very cooking well!

I cooked Buns cake with my host mother after dinner!

My Summer Vacation!!

I was filled up very much for a summer vacation :-D
I went to Gifu and went to Kyoto, Shizuoka, Kobe, Osaka and a lot!!
However, the homework did not remain :-(

I am sorry Andrea...

I worked as a lot of part-time jobs ...
The exchanges of the email were possible with the host family :-D

☆Nagara River fireworks display

I went for Nagara River firework display.

Nagara River in Gifu prifecture.

Because I went for the first time , I was very impressed!

I hope to go there next year.

And I enjoy summer vacation.

Dear Andrea Carlson,

 

 Hello! My name is Masako Matsuo. I am from Nagoya City in Aichi Prefecture. Nagoya is a very busy City. I live in Nakagawa ward, and there is much traffic there everyday. But during the spring season the area becomes very beautiful with the cherry trees in Arakogawa Koen. Nakagawa is about 90 minutes from Koryo. We live near a river. It’s not particularly beautiful. I like to go do fireworks with my friends in summer. It’s very, very fun!

 

There are four people in my family. My mother, Sueko, works as a part-timer.

She is from Okinawa!! My sister, Kaoru, is 28 years old. She was married 8 years ago. She lives in Minato ward now. My sister Makiko, is 18 years old. I’m 18 years old too. We are twins! She is a care worker, and she is taking care of old people.

 

In my free time I like to go shopping. I often go to PARCO in Sakae. And in my free time I am fond of reading magazine,

Oh!! My hometown!

My hometown, Nagoya, an active place place to live for three reasons.

First, Nagoya is a very developed city. There is heavy traffic every day.

There is a national highway in front of my house, so always noisy of the car.

Second, my hometown is convenient. There are supermarkets and a station, a bus stop, and also a convenient shopping mall. So I can always go there!

Third, there are lots of things to do in Nagoya. In there is an aquarium and an amusement park. In the city centre there is a zoo too. When I was child, I often went there. But I still sometimes go to there when I have time. The zoo is now changing the animals' living quarters to make it easier for then to live.

In addition, Nagoya famous food is misokatsu and kishimen. The tourist is popularity.

I like this hometown! It is a hometown of the pride. I hope you come to this town sometimes.
